    In 2009 I started my own company based in Amsterdam called Burner IT.

    Performed custom software development for small and mid-sized companies, in python. django,  jQuery, implementing OAuth enabled backends.


  • 2007 - 2009
    Search engine development and maintenance for TextKernel, Amsterdam.

    At Textkernel I worked on two projects.

    The first was for Funda, a Dutch real-estate search engine. The work involved developing parsers and search algorythms to search the websites of other real-estate websites and fill the Funda database.
    The second project was for BuzzCapture. BuzzCapture does market research, and our job was to search blogs for customer feedback. It involved developing tools for parsing the HTML, extracting the user content, and filling the database.

    Both projects ran on linux and used a mix of shell scripting, python scripting, PHP, javascript, and SQL around a java core.


  • 2005 - 2006
    System Engineering, System Administration, Network engineering, Application Management and Tech Support for Quanza Engineering, Amsterdam.

    At Quanza I helped develop and maintain Linux systems for hosting purposes. I helped develop, install at the datacenter, and maintain systems with developer level tech-support for clients such as the TROS, Speurders.nl, and Didactor.nl.


  • 2001
    Programming Virtual Reality applications and drivers for Motek Entertainment, Amsterdam.

    At Motek we developed a Virtual Reality and Motion Capture suite for medical research at the University of Twente. The project would capture a patients movements and display the patient’s skeleton in real time in a fully immersive 3D environment. Project was done in C++.

    Escola Preparatoria para Cadetes do Ar (EPCAR) was a military boarding school for training pilots for the Brazilian Air Force.
